Die Galerie Gisela Clement freut sich, Martin Pfeifle in Kooperation mit dem Modelabel ODEEH im Rahmen von Strike A Pose zu präsentieren. Martin Pfeifle, der Anfang des Jahres als Professor für Körper-Raum-Struktur an der Hochschule Düsseldorf berufen wurde, untersucht in seinem langjährigen künstlerischen Schaffen immer wieder die Grenzen zwischen Kunst, Design und Architektur. Durch die Zusammenarbeit mit dem 2008, durch das Designerduo Otto Drögsler und Jörg Ehrlich gegründete Modelabel ODEEH erweitert sich diese Arbeit erstmals auch um die Schnittstellen und Möglichkeiten von Mode und Kunst. Mit ODEEH hat sich ein Kooperationspartner gefunden, dessen Form- und Farbempfinden die Arbeit von Martin Pfeifle in ihrem spielerischen Ausloten von neuen Synästhesien aus Material, Form und Ort widerspiegelt. Strike A Pose ist der Auftakt dieser kreativen Verbindung, bei der ein vom Künstler in Kooperation mit ODEHH entwickeltes Muster mit den Stoffen des Modelabels in Form von Sandsäcken die Lichtsäule des Künstlers hält.
Galerie Gisela Clement is delighted to present Martin Pfeifle in cooperation with the fashion label ODEEH as part of Strike A Pose. Martin Pfeifle, who was appointed Professor of Body-Space-Structure at Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences at the beginning of the year, repeatedly explores the boundaries between art, design and architecture in his many years of artistic work. Through his collaboration with the fashion label ODEEH, founded in 2008 by the designer duo Otto Drögsler and Jörg Ehrlich, this work has been extended for the first time to include the interfaces and possibilities of fashion and art. ODEEH is a cooperation partner whose sense of form and colour reflects Martin Pfeifle's work in its playful exploration of new synaesthesias of material, form and place. Strike A Pose is the prelude to this creative connection, in which a pattern developed by the artist in cooperation with ODEEHH using the fashion label's fabrics in the form of sandbags holds the artist's light column.
