Drei Kuben in unterschiedlichen Größen und Höhenstehen ineinander verschachtelt auf einer Wiese. Von außen sind sie mit weißenStreifen aus Lackfolie bedeckt. Die Innenseiten sind in den Grundfarben Cyan,Magenta und Yellow gehalten. Durch die Erkundung einzelner Materialien, ihrer Eigenschaften und festen Strukturen entwickelt Martin Pfeifle neue Konzepte der Nutzung. Der HAW Pavillon ist eines dieser Konzepte. Der besondere Reiz dieser kubistisch - modernistischen Architektur des Pavillons entsteht durch die Nutzung dieser "gewöhnlichen" Materialien - Holz und Folie. Die Leichtigkeit dieser Arbeit wird durch die filigrane Konstruktion und die sich bewegenden Folienbänder besonders hervorgehoben. Die weiße Außenseite wird bei Wind durch die farbigen Streifen verändert - blau, magenta und gelb - diese Grundfarben generieren immer neue Farbräume. Somit suggeriert Martin Pfeifles Arbeit eine Momentaufnahme und die Bewegung durch den Wind zeigt das maximal Mögliche. Martin Pfeifle versteht sich als Bildhauer, der sich mit Form, Licht, Farben und Materialien auseinandersetzt.

Three interlocked cubes of varying size and height stand on a lawn. Outside they are covered with white strips of lacquer film. The interior sides remain in the primary colours cyan, magenta, and yellow. By exploring individual materials, their properties and fixed structures, Martin Pfeifle develops new concepts of use. The HAW Pavilion is one of these concepts. The particular charm of this cubist-modernist architecture of the pavilion arises from the use of these ‘ordinary’ materials - wood and foil. The lightness of this work is particularly emphasised by the filigree construction and the moving foil ribbons. The white exterior is transformed by the wind through the coloured stripes – blue, magenta and yellow – these primary colours constantly generate new colour spaces. Martin Pfeifle's work thus suggests a snapshot, and the movement caused by the wind shows the maximum possible. Martin Pfeifle sees himself as a sculptor who deals with form, light, colours and materials.
