Goldy ist die Nachbildung einer geodätischen Kuppel von Buckminster Fuller. Der Architekt Fuller entwickelte mittels Dreiecke ein einfaches Konstruktionsprinzip, das mit einem günstigen Verhältnis von Material zu Volumen ausgezeichnet ist. Pfeifle baut diese Kuppel als Haus nach. Es entsteht eine Architektur in der Architektur. Die Lampe steht symbolhaft für ein bewohnbares Haus und die Besucher sind eingeladen auf den Stühlen Platz zu nehmen.
Goldy is a replica of a geodesic dome by Buckminster Fuller, the architect Fuller developed a simple construction principle by means of triangles, which is distinguished by a favourable ratio of material to volume. Pfeifle reconstructs this dome as a house. The result is an architecture within the architecture. The lamp symbolizes a habitable house and visitors are invited to sit on the chairs.
