Mit destination_paradise / next stop Düsseldorf setzt die Künstlerin Daniela Georgieva ihre choreografische Arbeit im öffentlichen Raum fort. Für die Biennale Lindau 2022 entwickelte sie das Stück destination paradise für die Installation Haltestelle von Martin Pfeifle. Drei Tänzerinnen erkundeten die Installation im öffentlichen Raum, indem sie gingen, rannten, tanzten und sich tastend fortbewegten. In Düsseldorf nutzt die Choreografin und Performerin nun einen Abschnitt der Düsseldorfer Rheinpromenade unter der Oberkassler Brücke, um Choreografie und Bewegung zu verbinden. Pfeifles skulpturale Intervention, der Sound von Moritz Nahold aka subletvis und die eigens entworfenen boyband-ähnlichen Kostüme von Judith Schroiff machen destination_paradise / next stop Düsseldorf zu einem akustischen und visuellen szenischen Erlebnis. In Kreisen, Diagonalen oder Dreiecksformen lösen sich die verschiedenen Routen auf und bilden eine in sich geschlossene Einheit des Miteinanders im urbanen Kontext. Für die Weiterentwicklung der Performance in Düsseldorf wurde der kraftvolle Sound von subletvis an die Klanglandschaft vor Ort angepasst, die aus den Motorengeräuschen von Autos, Schiffen und Straßenbahnen besteht, den Motoren von Autos, Schiffen und den Straßenbahnen, die die Brücke im Takt überqueren. In diesem Klangraum umkreisen und durchqueren die drei Performer Hugo Le Brigand, SnorreElvin und David Kummer den Raum, gehen, rennen, springen – immer dem richtigen Moment im Jetzt angepasst, lauschend, sitzend oder wartend. In ihren Bewegungen nehmen sie immer Bezug auf die städtische Umgebung, die monumentale und doch flatternde und leichte Textilinstallation in leuchtendem Gelb und auf die Zuschauer und Passanten. Der leere Raum im Titel der Arbeit betont den leeren Raum, der choreografisch und künstlerisch bewusst gesucht und genutzt wird. destination_paradise / next stop Düsseldorf ist immer dort, wo der Blick auf das Unbekannte gerichtet ist, wo Leerräume aktiv akzeptiert werden, wo es Raum zum Verweilen und Eintauchen in Bewegung, Klang und Bild gibt und die Echtzeit vergessen werden kann.

With destination_paradise / next stop Düsseldorf, the artist Daniela Georgieva continues her choreographic work in public space. For the Lindau 2022 Biennale she developed the piece destination paradise for the installation Haltestelle by MartinPfeifle's installation Haltestelle. Three dancers explored the installation in public space by walking, running, dancing and feeling their way around. In Düsseldorf, the choreographer and performer is now usinga section of the Düsseldorf Rhine promenade under the Oberkassler Bridge to combine choreography and movement. Pfeifle's sculptural intervention,the sound by Moritz Nahold aka subletvis and the specially designed boyband-likecostumes by Judith Schroiff make destination_paradise / next stop Düsseldorf an acoustic and visual scenic experience. In circles, diagonals or triangular shapes, the different routes dissolve and form a self-contained unit of togetherness in an urban context. For the further developmentof the performance in Düsseldorf, the powerful sound of subletvis was adapted to thethe soundscape on site, which consists of the engine noises of cars, ships and trams,the engines of cars, ships and the streetcars that cross the bridge on schedule. In this sound space, the three performers Hugo Le Brigand, SnorreElvin and David Kummer circle around and through the space, walking, running, jumping - always adapting to the right moment in the now, listening, sitting or waiting. In their movements, they always refer to the urban environment, the monumental and yet fluttering and light textile installation in bright yellow and to the viewers and passers-by. The empty space in the title of the work emphasizes the empty space that choreographically and artistically consciously sought and used. destination_paradise / next stop Düsseldorf is always where the gaze is directed towards theunknown, where empty spaces are actively accepted, where there is room to linger and immersion in movement, sound and image and real time can be forgotten.
