Inmitten der pittoresken Insel ist der Ankunftsort vieler Besucher:innen ein urbaner, nüchterner Transitort, dessen architektonische Beschaffenheit in Martin Pfeifles Arbeit installativ aufgegriffen wird und im Zusammenspiel mit Licht eine Verwandlung erfährt. So beklebt er Wand und Vordach der Bushaltestelle mit Katzenaugen. Fährt ein Bus die Haltestelle an, reflektieren sie das Scheinwerferlicht und lassen das Wartehäuschen in seiner Gesamtheit aufleuchten, erstrahlen, funkeln. Irgendwo im Nirgendwo ankommen und meinen, dort sei es besser? Hier in Lindau warten, gehen, suchen und treffen im „destinatiom_paradise“. So heißt die Arbeit des Künstlers Martin Pfeifle. Dieser Frage gehen drei Performer*innen in Tanz vor Ort mit Gehen, Gehen als Tanz nach. Daniela Georgieva choreografiert ihre eigenen Regeln, befolgt und bricht sie, und welche Entscheidungen werden getroffen, wenn drei unbekannte Menschen aufeinandertreffen? Ist es der Weg selbst, die Art des Gehens oder die besondere Choreografie, die sich im urbanen Kontext entfaltet, die offene Straße als große Bühne nutzend? Ob in Diagonalen, Kreisen oder Dreiecken, unterschiedliche Gehweisen lösen sich auf und bilden eine eigene geschlossene Einheit des Miteinanders im urbanen Kontext. Dieser Kreis findet sich in „destination paradise“ wieder und wird Teil der Choreografie. Die drei Performer Hugo Le Brigand, Snorre Elvin und David Kummer nutzen das unbekannte Feld, um den urbanen Raum zu erweitern, indem sie zuhören, sitzen oder auf den richtigen Moment im Jetzt warten. Die Antwort wäre: „destination paradise“ ist immer dort, wo man den Blick auf das Unbekannte richtet, dem Verweilen Raum gibt und die Zeit vergisst.

The place where many visitors arrive in the middle of the picturesque island is an urban, sober transit point, the architectural nature of which is taken up in Martin Pfeifle's work in an installation-like way and undergoes a transformation in interaction with light.
